Stephen W. Preston, BBA was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. Stephen studied business at Mount Royal University, where he obtained a BBA with a focus on finance. Stephen continued his education and achieved a CSC.
Stephen displayed strong entrepreneurship from a very young age. He obtained his start in real estate by investing in Brazil. Here, he created a business selling beachfront property developments to Canadians, Americans and Europeans.
When the U.S market changed, Stephen seized the opportunity and has been investing in U.S properties ever since. His primary focus is purchasing properties for a fraction of its value at Tax Lien and Deed auctions. Stephen has also purchased foreclosures, short sales and distressed properties.
Stephen is a sought after mentor, speaker and best selling author and is considered the foremost Canadian authority when it comes to purchasing American Tax Liens and Deeds. He recently released his first book: How to Invest in Tax Liens for Canadians.
Adam Zanoni graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 2007 with a Bachelor of Management with Great Distinction. He received many honors during this time including being named to the Dean’s list on numerous occasions and receiving both the Alexander Rutherford and Jason Lang scholarships. Adam attained his Canadian Chartered Accountant designation in 2010. Adam was recognized by the Alberta Institute of Chartered Accountants for his extensive community involvement and volunteerism by awarding him the JAZZ IT!-CA Student Recognition award in 2009.
Adam has worked for a national public accounting firm, a national agriculture service company, a local consulting firm and a post-secondary institution gaining experience in financial reporting, financial forecasting, budgeting, cost accounting, assurance, financial accounting and taxation. Adam has experience in the financing world to go along with having his own real estate portfolio. In his spare time, Adam teaches as a sessional instructor at the University of Lethbridge (where he was recently nominated for an excellence in teaching award) along with volunteer activities that include: sitting on the Lethbridge Regional Police Commission, sitting on a number of economic develop committees including the Town of Coaldale and SouthGrow, and has been involved with local Chamber of Commerce.
Zoelynn Ashton is the Director of Operations for Twinstar Capital. With over a decade of experience, Zoelynn has been responsible for successfully managing teams over 60 members, subcontractors and vendors.
