Geography
Huffman is a community in the northeastern part of Harris County, Texas in the Houston -Sugar Land – Baytown metropolitan area. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 12,471.
Huffman covers about 54 square miles (140 km2) Huffman is a unique community consisting largely of subdivisions, scattered farms, apartments, and small businesses.

Racial make up of Huffman is 90.7% White, 3.1%, African American, 1.4% American Indian, 1.1% Asian, 0.2% Pacific Islander, 5.5% Other.
There were 4,239 households out of which 29.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.6% are married couples living together, 12.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 19.2% are non-families. 15.2% of all households are made up of individuals and 5.6% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
The city of Huffman’s population is spread out with 38.0% under the age of 18, 36.4% from 18 to 21, 34.8% from 21 to 61, 6.7% from 61 to 64, and 5.1% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 37.9 years.
